Pezzi di mó

Pezzi di mó is a ceramics studio on Rua da Arrábida, run by Mónica Gouveia. The project began in Italy before settling in Campo de Ourique.

Children aged 5 to 14 come for weekly clay modelling and painting classes, learning different techniques in a relaxed way. There are also regular classes for adults during the week, and on some Saturdays there are morning workshops for both.

The teaching puts the process before the finished piece: getting your hands in the clay, trying things out and building confidence along the way.
